Job Description:As an entry-level Lube Service Technician at Hoblit CDJR in Woodland, CA, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the optimal performance and longevity of our customers' vehicles. This position involves performing essential vehicle maintenance tasks, including oil changes, filter replacements, tire rotations, fluid inspections, and other routine automotive services. This position may also offer potential growth into an apprentice technician role.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform oil changes, tire rotations, filter replacements, and fluid inspections with precision and efficiency
  • Conduct thorough vehicle inspections to identify potential issues or areas of concern
  • Complete maintenance tasks according to company standards and guidelines
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring tools and equipment are properly maintained
  • Communicate effectively with team members and customers regarding vehicle issues and recommendations
  • Uphold safety protocols and adhere to all applicable regulations and guidelines
  • Continuously learn and stay updated on the latest automotive technologies and techniques

Qualifications:

  • Graduation from Universal Technical Institute (UTI) or similar automotive technical training program is preferred
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Strong passion for automotive repair and maintenance
  • Basic knowledge of vehicle systems and components
  • Excellent manual dexterity and physical stamina
  • Ability to follow instructions and work in a team environment
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Graduation from Universal Technical Institute (UTI) or similar automotive technical training program
  • Previous experience in an automotive service environment
  • ASE certifications or willingness to obtain them
